BollywoodNews: After Twitter Permanently Bans Kangana Ranaut, Koo App Welcomes her Wholeheartedly
Kangana Ranaut is always in the news - isn’t it? One of the highest-paid actresses of Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut has always been vocal about everything. But this time she has landed herself in trouble for being vociferous about some political issues in our country.
Twitter, the popular microblogging site has banned Kangana Ranaut’s account because of her aggressive and vengeful post on the recent West Bengal assembly elections. A spokesperson for Twitter said that Kangana has violated Twitter rules on multiple occasions, especially the “hateful conduct” and “abusive behavior” policies.
The homegrown social media platform Koo or Koo app has welcomed Kangana Ranaut wholeheartedly. The founders of this app said that the Koo app is her “home” and she is free to express her views or opinions on this platform without any inhibitions.
Mayank Bidawatka, a co-founder of Koo, welcomed Kangana in a post saying, “@kanganarofficial Kangana ji, yeh aapka ghar hai. Yahaan aap swabhimaan se apne vichaar sabke saamne rakhein (this is your home. Express your opinions here with pride).”
Koo co-founder Aprameya Radhakrishna shared this Tanu Weds Manu Returns star Kangana Ranaut’s first post after she joined Koo app in February and wrote, “This was @kanganarofficial’s first Koo. She‘s right in saying Koo is like her home while everything else is rented.”

This 34 years-old legendary Bollywood actress said in her first post, “Hello everyone .... working nights this is a lunch break for #Dhaakad crew. Why not Koo now. This is a new place will take time to get fimiliar magar bhade ka ghar bhade ka hota hai, apna ghar kaisa bhi ho apna hota hai (a place taken on rent is never one’s own, your own place is always yours).”
On her Twitter ban, Kangana Ranaut has said that, “Twitter has only proved my point they are Americans and by birth, a white person feels entitled to enslave a brown person, they want to tell you what to think, speak or do. Fortunately, I have many platforms I can use to raise my voice including my own art in the form of cinema but my heart goes out to the people of this nation who have been tortured, enslaved and censored for thousands of years and still there is no end to the suffering.”
